The contemplative life

Away from the noise, some of us lead a discreet life completely dedicated to prayer.

Our contemplative calling opens the way to a path of reflection on the mystery of salvation and the workings of the Spirit, within a deep and loving relationship with God.

Silence and retreat are indispensable for enabling us to respond in a permanent way to the call received. Yet in our solitude, we are not withdrawn from humanity but firmly bound to it, as we hold the world before God in praise and intercession. In communion with our apostolic sisters and inspired by the Virgin Mary, we are attentive to the Scriptures, the wellspring of our prayer, while awaiting with joy the day when all will be one in God’s presence.

Every day, prayer and contemplation weave together a rhythm shaped by our “Yes!” to God’s invitation and enriched by reading, work and community life.

We are humbled by the grace that entrusts us to bear witness to the closeness of God, the reality of hope, and the promise of peace.

The Eucharist is at the heart of our daily liturgy and our life of faithfulness within the Church.
